Crossing the Frozen Gulf of Ob
Sitting on top of a bunch of pots tightly wrapped in beddings pulled by reindeer as we were migrating with the Nenets, I noticed that the group of Nenet in front of me formed an interesting shape (almost like a helicopter!) as they zig-zagged their way across the frozen Gulf of Ob. This is the annual migration for the Nenets, a group of indigenous reindeer herders in Siberia, in search for greener pastures during the harsh winter months.
